The unbounded mercy of God

God didn’t just give you a body; He also gave you intellect. He didn’t stop at intellect; He granted you intuition. And beyond intuition, He filled nature with signs, providing guidance through prophets. Other creations were silent and didn't speak, but the prophets conveyed guidance through words. The prophets conveyed the message in a spoken language. Then God extended the list even further, saying, "O man, if you become a true seeker, a sincere supplicant, and a true believer, I will still grant you paradise." What an incredible concept this is!

There is a remarkable verse in the Quran in Surah Al-Nisa. In Islam, inheritance is distributed after death. The Quran says that when a person dies and leaves something behind which was used to be primarily land or something land-based.  But now, there is much more—whether it's land, grain,—these kinds of things were common in those days. The Quran says that when a person dies, their belongings must be distributed among the heirs. It states, "If other relatives, orphans or needy people are present at the time of the division, then provide for them out of it, and speak kindly to them." (The Quran 4:8)

This means that when it’s time to divide the inheritance, it is distributed among those who have a rightful claim. It's not given out unnecessarily, just to anyone. The inheritance goes to the deceased’s son, daughter, or relatives. The Quran states that when someone dies, their inheritance must be distributed, and the rightful heirs should come forward to claim their share. However, if distant relatives or others who don’t have a rightful claim also show up them, the Quran instructs to give them something as well (فَارْزُقُوهُمْ مِنْهُ). What a remarkable verse this is! When I read this, I feel that God is introducing Himself, saying, "O man, I am the One who gives, even to those who come asking for something, so you too should give."

Just look at how far God has extended the list.
